We head for the island’s southeast coast, an area known for regular sightings of wild dolphins, most active in the morning and midday. It all starts at your hotel: our air-conditioned van picks you up anywhere in Djerba and drops you at the boarding point — no taxi, no stress. At sea, captain Ridha, a Djerba native, steers toward the watching zones: he knows the currents, the fish schools and the dolphins’ habits. The catamaran then stops at a sheltered beach for a swim break in turquoise water with a sandy bottom and moderate depth. Fresh water, juice and soft drinks unlimited throughout.
